Michelle is a second-generation settler of mixed Kiwi and
Scottish ancestry and acknowledges that she lives, works and
plays on the unceded territory of the Syilx (Okanagan)
Peoples. She remains grateful for this land and water and
remains committed to continue to learn and grow.
She also wishes to recognize and celebrate the diversity of
indigenous peoples around the world, their ongoing cultures
and connections to the lands and waters of the earth and the
richness that their experience, wisdom and love offers.
